LOG CABIN: MEERKAT

(accommodate 2 guests, ideal for a romantic getaway)

Believers Destiny Getaway is located about 25km outside of Swellendam, in the Heidelberg direction. This farm stay accommodation uses solar power for electricity and gas for hot water. Therefor please don’t bring any hairdryers, curlers, straighteners or anything else which works with an element because you won’t be able to use it on the solar system. There are fans supplied for you in the house which are designed for solar systems. This house is an eco-friendly house, so please help us to create an awareness towards the environment. The water here is safe to drink.

This log cabin is NOT pet-friendly. 

This self catering accommodation is IDEALY DESIGNED FOR COUPLES (2PERSONS) AND IS THE PERFECT GETAWAY FOR A ROMANTIC BREAKAWAY !!!!

 The house has 1 bedroom and can accommodate 2 guests at a time. The bedroom has a DOUBLE bed with a blanket for those cold winter nights.

All linen and 1 towel per guest are provided.

The bathroom has a huge bath, shower, toilet and MEERKAT basin. Hand wash, toilet spray, 2 toilet rolls and 1 towel per guest are provided. 

​

The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove(JUST THE 4 PLATES, NO OVEN), crockery, utensils, fridge/freezer, tooth pics, rubbish bags, dishwashing liquid  and cloths. There is also tea, coffee and sugar for those who forgot to pack it in. The open-plan lounge has comfortable seating as well as a fireplace for those cold winter nights.

On the patio, there is braai facilities with braaigrid.

There is also a WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB on the patio.....  

With the hot tub no electricity is required, just a bag of wood and your water will be 18-38 degrees in 1 - 2 hours.  If you need to unwind and destress, this is the perfect solution, and with a glass of wine, this will be the best breakaway ever...

 

There is a display case, MEERKAT SE GAT,  with products for sale including homemade jams, marmalades, jalapeno jellies, variety of olives , basil pesto's, Funky Ouma spices, THAT FOOD spices,  LEA rooibos tea range, Merweville nougat range, keyrings and much more, available at an additional rate.

There are also a wide variety of wines at an additional cost.

We have bags of braai wood, fine wood / firestarters and packets of blitz available.

All of these products are available at the house with arrival.

There are a few more platters to choose from.

We have an awesome snack platter at the lapa with biltong, droëwors, cheeses, olives or feta cheese.

BREAKFAST OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE with a wide range of organic teas , cappuccino's or moerkoffie....
