Believers Destiny Getaway is located about 25km outside of Swellendam, in the Heidelberg direction.
We are on a smallholding and is totally off-grid with only solar power for electricity and the hot water is supplied by a donkey water heater which needs to be ignited by guests when needed .
Therefor please don’t bring any hairdryers, curlers, straighteners or anything else which works with an element because you won’t be able to use it on the solar system.
There is a fan supplied for you in the caravan which can work with the solar power.
The caravan is eco-friendly , so please help us to create an awareness towards the environment.
We have clean rain water here, so the water is safe to drink.
BushCat is ideally designed for those couples where the one partner loves camping and the other partner is not so fond of the idea of camping.
Now you can agree on camping with this luxury camping unit WITH YOUR OWN PRIVATE WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB ON YOUR PATIO; no need to pack anything else than your clothing and food.
Or if you do not have any camping equipment ; this is the ideal place for camping ANY TIME OF THE YEAR NO MATTER WHAT THE SEASON!!!
The BushCat is a modified caravan and features self-catering facilities, a private bathroom, patio with braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub; ALL UNDER 1 ROOF. This unit is pet-friendly by arrangement and also fenced.
BushCat has a double bed and can accommodate 2 guests at a time.
We supply a blanket for those cold winter nights. If your pet is coming along, please bring your own warm blankets.
The caravan is equipped with shelves, a 2-plate gas stove, a couch and a fridge-freezer.
All the linen are provided, 2 toilet rolls, toilet spray, 1 towel per guest.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and our signature basin.
The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas hob (NO OVEN), crockery, utensils and a fridge-freezer, dishwashing liquid and a dishcloth.
On the patio, there are braai facilities with a braai grid and a wood-fired hot tub.
BushCat has a WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB on the patio.....
With the hot tub no electricity is required, just a bag of wood and your water will be 18-38 degrees in 1 - 2 hours. If you need to unwind and destress, this is the perfect solution, and with a glass of wine, this will be the best breakaway ever...
The caravan, bathroom and patio are all under one roof which makes it more ideal for camping any time of the year. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

There are bags of BLACKWATTLE braai wood; kindle / fine wood / firestarters and packets of blitz available at the caravan unit. (As well as at the shop /lapa.)
REMEMBER TO ORDER YOUR PLATTER 1 DAY IN ADVANCE. We have a few options available.
Sourdough blik broodjies must also be ordered 1 day in advance.
We have an awesome snack platter at the lapa with biltong, droëwors, cheeses, olives or feta cheese.
OR come and try our sourdough, thin based, pizza's.
We have a variety of double thick milkshakes and mocktails as well, to make your stay extra special.
