Believers Destiny Getaway is located about 25km outside of Swellendam, in the Heidelberg direction.
We are on a smallholding; totally off-grid and only have solar power for electricity and gas for hot water.
Therefor please DO NOT bring any hairdryers, curlers, straighteners or anything else which works with an element because you won’t be able to use it on the solar system.
The water here is clean rain water and safe to drink.
This self catering accommodation is pet-friendly.
This unit is fenced off for pets. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
Please note that there is also a fee for your pets' stay.
The caravan has 1 bedroom (double bed) and can accommodate 2 guests.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet and our signature wash basins.
Designed for those couples where the one partner loves camping and the other partner is not so fond of the idea of camping.
Now you can agree on camping with this luxury camping unit, no need to pack anything else than your clothing and food.
Or if you do not have any camping equipment ; this is the ideal place for camping ANY TIME OF THE YEAR NO MATTER WHAT THE SEASON!!!
This unit is a modified caravan with self-catering facilities, a private bathroom, patio with braai facilities and a wood-fired hot tub; ALL UNDER 1 ROOF.
The kitchen is equipped with:
* 2-burner gas stove (JUST THE PLATES, NO OVEN),
* crockery, utensils,
* fridge/freezer,
* rubbish bags,
* dishwashing liquid and cloths.
There is also tea, coffee and sugar for those who forgot to pack it in.
On the patio, there is braai facilities with braai grid.
Donkey-heated system for hot water (guests need to make a fire to ensure hot water in shower and taps. Wood are provided for this system)
There is also a WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB on the patio.
With the hot tub no electricity is required, just a bag of wood and your water will be 18-38 degrees in 1 - 3 hours. If you need to unwind and destress, this is the perfect solution, and with a glass of wine, this will be the best breakaway ever...

*warm blankets for the winter. Keep in mind that we do not supply warm blankets if your pets are coming along. Then you need to bring your own.

*A few sachets coffee, sugar & rooibos tea
There are lots of products for sale at the lapa/ reception.
We have bags of BLACKWATTLE braai wood and kindle (fine wood) & packets of blitz.
Wood and blitz are available at the unit with arrival as well as at the lapa.
REMEMBER TO ORDER YOUR PLATTER 1 DAY IN ADVANCE. We have a few options available.
We have an awesome snack platter at the lapa with biltong, droëwors, cheeses, olives or feta cheese.
OR come and try our sourdough, thin based, pizza's.
We have a variety of double thick milkshakes and mocktails to make your stay extra special.

The kitchen is fully equipped: cutlery, crockery, black bags, toothpics, sunlight liqued+cloths,4 burner gas stove, fridge/freezer. WE HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF LOCAL WINES FOR SALE AS WELL AS HOMEMADE JAMS +PRESERVES, KEBABS, FREERANGE CHICKEN AND LOTS MORE...
The caravan has a double bed and shelves. Linen are provided.
Remember to order your platter to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or engagement. All products are homemade with freshly baked bread, a huge range of jams to choose from jams and chutneys.
